About Mariano Manzella:
Mariano Manzella is a Flamenco singer and guitarist who bases his artistic career on the permanent search for new sounds and musical mixes. He has performed in his native country of Argentina, as well as Spain, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Sardinia, Japan, and the United States with respected artists such as: Chuscales (1997,) Paco Jarana and Pedro Cortes (2001,) and later in Argentina with Raúl “El Perla” (2001,) David Amaya “Barbería del Sur,” and Santiago Aguilar (2002).
He has played at venues such as the Conrad Hotel in Uruguay, touring with Carlota Santana’s Company, and participating in the Flamenco Festival in Albuquerque New Mexico, with Yjastros, Son y Soniquete, and Fiesta Flamenca. His CD “Amphora” features more than thirty participating musicians from around world.

Julia Alcántara is a dancer and producer that has brought the best of flamenco music and dance to North Texas since 1998. She is a native Texan who has performed in more than 90 cities nationally. Ms. Alcántara is a native Texan who began studying the art of flamenco after graduating from high school.
With her company, Ida y Vuelta Flamenco Dance Company, Ms. Alcántara has hosted and performed with world-class dancers, singers, and musicians from all over the world. Her authentic flamenco shows receive rave reviews appearing in D Magazine and The Dallas Morning News. She has also appeared in The Dallas Opera’s production of La Vida Breve, on Good Morning Texas, and the World Cup opening ceremonies in the Cotton Bowl.
