A Reimagined Reliant Lights Your Holidays
The reimagined and socially-distanced Reliant Lights Your Holidays lit up the AT&T Performing Arts Center last week, and will be welcoming families for the next few weeks. It’s the perfect spot for your holiday photo!
The opening ceremony last Friday was highlighted by performances from the trombone section of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the colorful Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico. (Get a sneak peek of it here!) And Saturday night featured a singing Santa from The Dallas Opera. Families enjoyed the vivid projections across the walkways and the gift box in Sammons Park, and the videos of our esteemed resident companies in a festive wreath! You can grab selfies with Hugo the Armadillo – Reliant’s popular inflatable mascot. Hot chocolate is on sale at the Center Café. And don’t forget about putt-putt golf on the new Reliant Putting Green!
The campus is open to everyone nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. And as a special treat, on Fridays, Saturdays, and closing night, Sunday, December 20, we’ll have performances by local arts organizations! All of this is designed to be socially-distanced so you can safely visit at your own pace. Mask are required. And it’s all free of charge thanks to the generous support of the David M. Crowley Foundation.
