Jaw-dropping and Awe Inspiring, Command Performance always deliveries one of the most exciting performances of the year. It’s unmatched, and we only do it once a year.
It is the pyrotechnics of dance – the most exciting, innovative and beautiful works being performed today. Artists from leading companies light up the stage with spectacular, surprising jaw-dropping performances. This year there are works by Alvin Ailey, Helgi Tomasson, Dwight Rhoden, Moses Pendleton and Trey McIntyre, just to name a few.
Command Performance also features TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND commissioned works created specifically for this gala performance such as works by some of the world’s leading choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, William Forsythe, Dwight Rhoden, Jessica Lang, Mia Michaels, as well as special appearance in 2025 by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. This year, TITAS has commissioned a remounting of In/Side by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s former Artistic Director, Robert Battle.
