Due to inclement weather, the PNC Patio Sessions with Strange Girl event tonight, Thursday, September 14 will be moved inside to Hamon Hall in the Winspear Opera House. We hope you will join us for this exciting free event!
Strange Girl, a.k.a. Devin Berg, is an award-winning DFW theatre artist known for playing murderous villains (see Ghost Quartet and LIZZIE: the Lizzie Borden Rock Musical at Imprint Theatreworks in 2019) turned alt-pop musician. She made the triumphant return to songwriting and producing during the pandemic as a way to deal with heartbreak, now her sound has evolved into a homemade fairy world: ethereal, grating, and honest. She takes inspiration from artists like St. Vincent, Dijon Duenas, and Ethel Cain as well as the retrofuturism and surrealist automatism. A Dallas native and TCU grad, she is ready to share her sound with her hometown.
