Canceled: Herb Alpert and Lani Hall
Artists’ touring schedules continue to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Herb Alpert and Lani Hall’s performance at the Wyly Theatre on January 30, 2022 has been canceled. Thank you so much for your patience while we work with the artists to reschedule this performance.
Musically, the past twelve months have been a busy time for Herb who released his latest single Zoo Train 21 in March 2021. The track is a reimagining of his original composition, Zoo Train which was featured on his 2014 album In The Mood. Last June, Herb released Slick, featuring keyboard great Jeff Lorber. Slick, which Herb co-wrote and originally featured on his 1968 album, The Beat of the Brass, hit the airwaves on June 22nd.
While the pandemic may have prevented Herb and his Grammy-winning vocalist wife Lani Hall from completing their 2020 US and Canada tour, the duo rounded out 2019 with ten nights of sold-out performances at the legendary Cafe Carlyle in New York City. February 2020 took the band from Prescott, Arizona to California for three sold-out concerts across the state.
