The AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Movie Nights are in our outdoor venue Strauss Square with reduced-capacity, socially-distanced seating so everyone can safely stretch out on the lawn and enjoy current and classic films under the stars in the Dallas Arts District. We will be utilizing our new COVID-19 safety procedures to help protect our patrons and staff while allowing everyone to enjoy an outdoor movie experience!

About IT Chapter One
New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andres Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

• Rating: R (Under 17 requires accompanying parent or guardian.)
• Runtime: 148 minutes

All general admission tickets are lawn seating. VIP tickets are at tables on the porch overlooking the lawn.

The following is a list of items that are permitted in Strauss Square:

Bag Policy

As of the 2020 season, ALL bags outside of the parameters below, will not be allowed inside the venue:

• One bag that is clear plastic or vinyl and does not exceed 12”x6”x12”
• OR One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) AND a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5”x 6.5”
• All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue.

Exceptions:

Patrons who need medical supplies or devices and members of the working media are not subject to the new bag policy, but will need to go through the bag check line at the entry gate for a thorough screening of the bag and the medical items. The person requiring these supplies or devices must accompany the bag at all times. Media and medical exception bags will be tagged once cleared through security.
