Canadian musician, singer and songwriter Sarah McLachlan has sold more than 40 million recordings worldwide. During her two decades with Arista Records, every one of Ms. McLachlan’s studio and live albums has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Five reached the Billboard Top 15. Ms. McLachlan’s hits include “Angel,” “Fallen,” “Sweet Surrender,” “Building a Mystery” and “I Will Remember You.” Her music has been recognized in both Canada and the United States, where she has won eight Juno Awards and three Grammys.

Ms. McLachlan has not only a crystal clear voice but also a generous heart. She founded Lilith Fair, the first all-female traveling music festival attended by two million people during the summers of 1997, 1998 and 1999. The tour raised more than $7 million for charities. In 2003, the singer founded the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach Program to provide free music education classes in inner city schools whose music programs were reduced or abolished by budget cuts.
