AT&T Performing Arts Center

Open Stages

Open Stages provides North Texas high school and middle school students with opportunities to attend high-caliber performances at the Center’s premier venues. For many students, this is their first time experiencing a live professional performance. In addition to seeing a show, students attend preshow workshops taught by local teaching artists. These workshops touch upon specific themes of the show, allowing the students to gain a holistic understanding of the performance they are about to see.

Open Stages is generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, Texas Commission on the Arts, Harry W. Bass Foundation, Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, Central Market, and individual contributions to the Center’s annual fund.
