First Saturday Tours

Step into the vibrant world of the performing arts through our popular First Saturday Tours, held at 10 and 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of most months. The mission of the AT&T Performing Arts Center Docent Team is to deliver world-class tours of its venues which include the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, Annette Strauss Square, and the Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park. Commencing in the Winspear Opera House lobby, this 45-minute journey offers an exclusive glimpse into the heart of creativity.

A Memorable Exploration Awaits

Whether you are an arts aficionado or a newcomer, our tours promise exceptional insights into the history, architecture and behind-the-scenes details that make these venues truly magical. Our experienced docents will share their extensive knowledge as you explore the Winspear Opera House, Wyly Theatre, Annette Strauss Square and the picturesque Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park.

Unlock the Secrets of the Stage

Our First Saturday tours offer an insider’s perspective to our artistic haven. Although recommended for those 8 and above, anyone with a curiosity for the arts is welcome. Please note that due to ongoing programming, the areas available for viewing at a given time may vary. Our docents will make every effort to provide a comprehensive experience, considering the group’s time constraints.

Groups with 30 or more participants may be split between multiple docents, and groups smaller than 30 participants may be combined with other groups, at the discretion of the Center.
