SummerStage 3 | Ages 11-12

Act, sing and dance as you tackle the world of theater with us. Join us at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in Downtown Dallas. This Summerstage will be classic, find your own way to strut those skills as the Class Act you are!

SummerStage 2016 is designed with your child in mind – the shy kindergartner, the rambunctious 10-year-old, the observant tween, the high school student with bold dreams. Committed to excellence, Dallas Theater Center provides the very best in training, teachers and curriculum while balancing it all with a big dose of fun. Students build artistic skill, self-confidence, cultivate creativity and develop their imaginations while experiencing first-hand the magical power of theater.

IMPORTANT SUMMERSTAGE INFORMATION
SummerStage 2016 will take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre (2400 Flora St @ Leonard St.) in the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

All students enrolled in SummerStage 2016 become part of Dallas Theater Center’s actor talent pool.

Students enrolled in a full day of classes may bring their lunch and enjoy the company of other students and faculty. This supervised lunch is available to half-day students at an additional fee of $5 per day.

Full tuition is due at the time of registration, 50% tuition is refundable if a student is withdrawn three weeks before camp begins. Full tuition is refundable only in the event of a program cancellation. There is a $20 fee for returned checks.

Now Offering Before and After Care!

At DTC, we know parents lead busy lives. In order to make the SummerStage experience more convenient for campers and their families, we are now providing Before and After Care that is both fun and safe!

Before Care takes place from 8:30 – 9:30am. Campers should be dropped off at the lobby of the theater. Parents who arrive before 8:30am will need to wait with their children.

Before Care can be purchased on the first day of your child’s session. Pricing is $20 for one week, and $40 for two weeks. Before Care is not available the first day of a new session.

After Care takes place from 4:30 – 5:30pm Students will be escorted from their class to the After Care room at 4:30pm. After Care can be purchased “a la carte” at $5 per day, or $20 per week. If you would like to purchase After Care on an a la carte basis, please contact the Camp Coordinator before 3:00pm on the day your child will need care.

ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 5:30PM. Parents need to enter the building to pick up their child from After Care.

Financial assistance, including payment plans and scholarships, is available.
