Sammons Park Reflecting Pool

The Campaign to Build the Center

The AT&T Performing Arts Center raised gifts of $1 million or more from more than 134 Dallas families, corporations and foundations—an unprecedented achievement in a campaign of this kind. Today, these donors are recognized permanently in the Donor Reflecting Pool located in Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park, the 10-acre park that unites the Center’s venues, gratefully recognizing their generous contribution to this historic project in perpetuity.

The Founding Family Donor Program was launched at the campaign’s inception in November 2000 and concluded in 2004 with 44 Founding Families, all making gifts of $1 million and above.
